About the Artist

The band “My Friends” was originally formed in the mid-1960s and consisted of four Logan natives and high school classmates. After fifty plus years, the original members have reunited in recent years to continue playing the great music of their generation.

During their years at Logan High, they played at noon dances and assemblies, at USU fraternity and sorority parties, at high school dances throughout northern Utah, southern Idaho and western Wyoming, and at larger venues, including Lagoon and the famous Cowboy (Silver Dollar) Bar in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In many cases, “My Friends” was among the first “live bands” to perform at rural high schools in the region. In the early days of the band, they hauled their musical equipment to their dances in a 1938 Packard hearse!
During the past 40 plus years, “My Friends” have reunited on a number of occasions to play at Logan High School Reunions, private parties, and benefit concerts. “My Friends” play classic country rock that was popularized during their playing days in the late 60s and 70s by artists such as the Byrds, Neil Young, the Bee Gees, Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival,, the Eagles and the Rolling Stones, among other legendary artists.
