About the Artist

Peter Breinholt is one of the most reliably beloved performers in the region. His debut record, which consisted of songs Peter wrote as a college student, became a phenomenon on Utah college campuses and eventually became the best-selling independently released CD ever in the state. "It is an underground classic", wrote Salt Lake Magazine a decade after it's release. Since then, Peter and his band have gone on to perform for countless sold out crowds in every major concert hall in the state, including Kingsbury Hall, Tuacahn, Sundance and the Ellen Eccles Theater in Logan. Utah Governor Gary Herbert recently honored Peter with the Governor's Mansion Lifetime Achievement Award for his enduring influence on audiences and artists throughout the region.
