I use a new approach to an old art form dating back to the Egyptians. I use various types of wire, employing techniques such as wrapping, sculpting, hammering and weaving, to create artistic expressions incorporating gems, glass, shells, pearls, charms and wood. I create each item individually, with details that are unique to that particular jewelry piece. I use only simple hand tools, never use jigs or templates, and all weaving is done "off-loom" which means I weave the wire entirely with my hands, and not a loom. I like to use wire to create visual effects of motion, wind, waves, vines, flowers, and other elements in nature. I have even tried to create the magic behind Cinderella's coach at the stroke of midnight.
