The 34th annual Summerfest Arts Faire will be held Thursday, June 15, through Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Tabernacle Square in the heart of downtown Logan, Utah. Summerfest 2017 will feature 150 artists’ booths, performances on two stages, a family art yard, food from around the world, and much more. Attendance at Summerfest averages 60,000 and is Cache Valley’s favorite “kick-off to summer” event. Summerfest Arts Faire is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to celebrating the arts in Cache Valley.
Artists will be selected by a jury comprised of music and performing arts professionals. Jury selections will be based upon materials submitted with the application and on past performances both in Utah and at Summerfest. The jury will look for professionalism, originality, creativity, and suitability of materials for our family audiences. Performing artists hired by Summerfest Arts Faire must agree to keep performances modest, in good taste and appropriate for all ages.
Live performance is a very important aspect of our evaluation process , which is why we provide you with the opportunity to present that to us, either with audio or video clips. Please provide relevant Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, or website links to help us make the best evaluation of your performance.
You may send audio files (make sure they are clearly marked with your band/performer name and track name in the subject line) to performances@logansummerfest after you have completed your online application if you do not have audio or video online. You can also send a link to cloud storage - please make sure to share the file with the above email. Finally, you may send CDs/DVDs to 69 E. 100 N., Logan, UT 84321. These must arrive in our office by midnight, February 18th.
Completed applications and supporting materials must be received by Summerfest Arts Faire no later than midnight on Saturday, February 18, 2017. All applications must be completed online. Notification of jury decisions will be emailed by Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Accepted performing artists are required to sign a contract with Summerfest Arts Faire specifying, among other things, payments, requirements, and liability. Contracts will be emailed by Saturday, April 1, and must be signed and returned no later than Friday, April 21, either via email or by mail. Links to performances of accepted performers, as well as photos may be used for archival, publicity, and web site purposes before, during and after the event. CDs and DVDs sent to Summerfest offices will not be returned.
Summerfest pays all main stage performers and acoustic stage acts. Please indicate desired fee on the application and indicate if it is negotiable. Note: Summerfest does not pay transportation or housing for local or regional artists.
All payments will be made onsite following the performance.

Summerfest Arts Faire will be held on the grounds of the Historic Logan Tabernacle, 50 North Main Street, in the heart of downtown Logan, UT.
2017 Deadlines & Important Dates
- Saturday, February 18, 2017: Application and materials due no later than midnight.
- Saturday, March 18, 2017: Notification emails sent to all artist applicants
- Saturday, April 1, 2017: Contracts sent to artists
- Friday, April 21, 2017: Signed contracts due back to Summerfest office
- Monday, May 1, 2017: Technical riders/requirements due to Summerfest office
